B-A-N-A-N-A-S over my Mama

What: Banana Bread with a sprinkle of chocolate chips
Need: 3-4 ripe bananas (smashed), 1/3 cup melted butter, 3/4 cup sugar, 1 egg (beaten), 1 teaspoon vanilla, 1 teaspoon baking soda, pinch of salt, 1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
Fact: When the banana is yellow with a greenish tip it is ready to eat! The banana is at this stage is sweet, creamy, and slightly on the firmer side - perfect to eat.
Why: because it's my Mom's favorite

It's hard for me to impress my parents with my baking because they don't have much of a sweet tooth, but when it comes to banana bread; they love! It's probably the easiest recipe to follow and I always have these ingredients at home so it was easy peasy.

My mom deserves more then just a dinner, flowers, and a sweet treat. I'm so thankful for all the sacrifices she has made for me all my life. My mom is truly the strongest women I know with the biggest heart for others. She always puts others before her and always gives people the benefit of the doubt. I have along way to go, but I'm thankful that I was able to get some of her best qualities. She deserves so much MORE pampering and love from me. I lack so much, but  I am so thankful to have a mom who always takes care of me despite how old I may be.

Happy Mother's Day! x
